Amp Up Your Abs: Core Strengthening Exercises

I’m diggin’ Yoga Journal’s video series on core strengthening. This ain’t about your papa’s six-pack. Rather, it’s about maintaining strength and stability in ALL of our activities of daily living. From picking up your kids, to getting out of the car without wrenching your back, to preventing falls. And I believe having this core strength helps develop our inner strength as well. This video is only 10 minutes and demonstrates 6 exercises to get your rocking your abs. So rock on!

{PS. Please note that the forearm down side plank is demo’d on only one side. When you get to that part, pause the video to do the other side before continuing on. Yoga is all about symmetry!}
